Burberry Prorsum didn’t fail to withhold their usual stunning look. The first thing I noticed was the pretty bow belts that featured throughout the entire collection. They nipped in the waist and emphasised the hips with ballooned skirts, pretty ruffles or peplums. The skirts sometimes also featured oversized pockets, making the hips a feature again, teamed with the belts creating a sultry hourglass shape.
There was definitely a country feel to the collection, with flat caps, tweed and big soft looking knits. There was also a fun element with sketched owls and then later embellished versions. There were pretty floral printed dresses mimicking the bow detail found on the belts along with striped t-shirts with embellished neck detailing. Another recurring theme was gloves which were worn with cropped bomber jackets, padded coats, double breasted knitted coats and dresses.
The colours were definitely autumnal with mustard, burgundy, plum and a range of browns and beiges. Then to finish it off, all the stunning looks paraded down the runway under umbrellas. Gorgeous…
