Sugar and spice and all things nice

It’s the return of the girly girl!

If it’s not on the catwalks or the high street, it’s in print adverts. Everywhere I look at the moment there are sugary sweet pastel shades, girly lace, floral patterns and delicate detailing. Full skirts and tiny waists matched with dainty heels and sweet accessories make up the girly girl wardrobe.

It’s quite a welcome change to the predominately masculine trends we have seen and the dark colours dominating the high street and fashion shows. This is a far cry from what we have seen in the recent fashion weeks for Autumn/ Winter where it’s all military colours and shapes along with utility dressing. Perfect for the start of Spring.
